June 13, 2024 | 8:30am-2:00pm | Prince William County Government Complex
The Office of Procurement Services (OPS) invites vendors and prospective vendors interested in doing business with Prince William County to attend the First Annual Procurement Expo on June 13, at the Sean T. Connaughton Plaza. Vendors will have the opportunity to meet with county departments and local resources at this expo-style event. The Procurement Expo is a forum to facilitate connections between the vendor community and County decision-makers, increase competition, and transparency.
Vendors will have the opportunity to:
- Learn each department’s mission, the goods and services typically procured, and contractual spend plans for the upcoming fiscal year.
- Participate in one-on-one matchmaking sessions with County departments to discuss upcoming needs and what the department looks for in a contractor business partner. (Pre-registration required)
- Attend panel discussions on Information Technology Procurement; and Construction and Architectural Engineering Procurement.
- Complete vendor registration on-site and receive information from the PWC Vendor Maintenance team on the upcoming Multi-Factor Authentication Process for the Supplier Portal.
This event exemplifies Procurement Services’ strategic goals to develop a robust marketplace that connects agencies to vendors that meet their business needs; and increase the County’s supplier network through vendor outreach to local and SWaM enterprises.
