31st Giant National Capital BBQ Battle: The Ultimate Food & Music Experience
Get ready to party like it's 1993 at the 31st annual Giant National Capital Barbecue Battle. Located right in the heart of Washington, D.C., at Pennsylvania Avenue, NW (3rd Street -7th Street), June 24th (11 AM-9 PM) & 25th (11 AM-7 PM)! This isn't just any BBQ event - it's one of the largest in the country and has even been proclaimed "America's National BBQ Championship" on the floor of Congress!

BBQ Championship: You'll be on the same block as the raddest BBQ masters from across the country, as they compete head-to-head in gnarly contests.

Go-Go, World Music & 90's Vibez: Come down and witness true legends in Go-Go, reggae, including EU featuring Sugarbear, the Chuck Brown Band, See-I, Raheem DeVaughn and the Crank Crusaders, with tons more great acts. We're also going international with Bolivian, Peruvian, Panamanian, Mexican, and more acts from around the world. Plus, don't miss the Monster Energy 90's Block Party starring DJ Jazzy Jeff (of Fresh Prince Fame) and a throwback 90's style dance party (featuring dancers) in the middle of the event. Get jiggy with it!
BBQ & Brews: Beyond the free food samples, grab some of the best bbq the biz has to offer from top DC and national bbq vendors. For those 21 and older, not only will we have all the classic brews, seltzers, and summer wines for you to cool off with; but the event will also have premium microbrew & wine tasting.
